I started King Mediation Services because I wanted to help co-parents, people going through a divorce to feel supported, capable, and confident to handle the journey before them. Seventeen years ago, I was a young mother facing a divorce that neither my family nor my immediate community supported. I knew that for me to be safe, I needed to get divorced. With no financial resources, I took the bold step of doing my divorce pro se, and that process was an eye-opening experience. My divorce planted the seed that I would like to work with single parents, divorcing couples, and co-parents to help support them on their divorce and co-parenting journeys. In 2017 I was looking for a new career path after being out of the workforce, and I remembered the little seed planted about helping co-parents and divorcing couples. I started my journey to become a mediator and divorce coach. In 2019 I reached my goal of opening my practice. As a mediator and divorce coach, I hope to help parents as they make the best possible decisions for their future, support them on their divorce and co-parenting journey while saving them significant time and money during the process.
