About Robert Shawyer:- Robert Shawyer is the founder of Shawyer Family Law & Mediation. His practice focuses on collaborative law, mediation and litigation in the area of family law. Robert finished his training in Collaborative Law Practice on May 2, 2014 and he is a member of Collaborative Practice Toronto (CPT) and International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. In addition to his training as a Collaborative Law lawyer Robert was accredited as a Family Law Mediator by the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM) on July 26, 2016. To receive his accreditation Robert took courses accredited by the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) in Basic Family Negotiation & Mediation, Advanced Family Mediation & Negotiation and Screening for Family Violence, Abuse and Power Imbalances in domestic relationships and interned with Riverdale Mediation in Toronto.
