With over 25 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, I have worked in various settings such as outpatient/inpatient rehabilitation centers, private practices, nursing homes, the home care setting- both adult and pediatric clients (birth -3 years old), in a specialized school setting for children diagnosed with autism, and in an outpatient hospital setting. Therefore, I have had experiences expanding from infants to the elderly, along with a wide variety of diagnoses. However, my passion for helping my clients achieve optimal health and function, has inspired me to develop and combine my extensive knowledge, assessment and treatment skills, with a more holistic and therapeutic approach using light touch manual therapies such as Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. I have learned through treating my clients over the years, and through my own experiences that physical pain, disability and dysfunction are not only caused by physical injuries, illnesses or post –operatively, but also through emotional trauma, our own thoughts, past experiences, stressors and struggles we deal with on a daily basis. Fortunately, our bodies have a unique and incredible way to heal itself … not necessarily the way we want it to, but the way it needs to…. with the right compassionate touch and guidance.
