We help clients and their families navigate behavioral health care systems addressing the abstract and practical components of psychiatric treatment. Founded in 2005, Koved Care was created to provide clients with greater hope and purpose in their daily life. “Koved” means “honor” in Yiddish and we strive to honor clients by seeing our clients not as patients, but whole human beings and tailoring care plans accordingly. We believe psychiatric treatment is more effective in concert with care which meets social, vocational, educational, psychological and biological needs. Health care delivery today has many gaps, especially for those who need psychiatric care. Primary care physicians can no longer be expected to coordinate a team of specialists and in-patient and out-patient treatment providers in the care of a client. In addition, the financial and legal aspects of care are rarely coordinated with clinical services. Koved Care weaves a safety net of services for its clients by providing strategic, detailed care plans and collaborating closely with clinical, legal and financial management professionals.
