Dr. Yusuf Mamdani is a compassionate, attentive OB-GYN treating patients in New York City and the surrounding areas. His primary goal as a practitioner is to make sure each of his patients is treated well and receives the care they need. He operates under the motto, “treating patients with patience,” and makes sure to spend enough time with his patients to understand their concerns. Originally from India, Dr. Mamdani attended Municipal Medical College in Gujarat in order to pursue his medical degree. He continued his medical education at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center. He keeps his practice up-to-date by attending OB-GYN seminars in the city. Patients visiting Dr. Mamdani can receive a full range of obstetric and gynecological care. He provides general consultations and annual gynecological examinations, as well as osteoporosis evaluations, contraception, and treatment for sexual dysfunction. Surgical procedures available include ovarian cystectomies, abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, and cone biopsies to treat cervical cancer and pre-cancer cells. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Mamdani enjoys reading, following current events, and spending time with his wife and children.
