The turntables found DJ Focus back in 2006 while he attended college at Buffalo State College in Buffalo, NY. Focus holds a bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in marketing. Intrigued by the nightlife industry, he got his start as a party promoter. His charismatic and witty personality made him a natural at his job. Unsatisfied with the quality of work from the disc jockeys he booked, Focus decided to give Deejaying a shot. His reputation for providing superior entertainment at his events allowed for a smooth transition into becoming a DJ. He quickly gained popularity, booking countless gigs. His access to the hottest music and unreleased tracks gave him an edge over many local entertainers. This open format DJ is qualified for any occasion. He has experience playing at house parties, college events, local radio (WBLK 93.7FM), relevant clubs in the NY area, Internet radio, and international venues. Despite his many achievements, Mr. Turn it Up remains humble and ambitious. Focus vowed never to remain a local DJ. Obsessed with travel, he took his talent overseas and on the seas, providing tunes for thousands of people, including passengers aboard Carnival Cruise Lines the most popular cruise line in the world.
