Established in 2006 by Nina Edwards Anker, NEA Studio focuses its work in: Architecture Interiors Landscape Planning Furniture and Product Design The award-winning practice operates in an environment in which project management and implementation takes place in parallel with model-making, prototyping and experimentation with ideas, materials, and manufacturing processes. With a focus on sustainable design, the office maintains a cross-disciplinary nature where research and sharing ideas is an essential part of work philosophy. NEA Studio continues to design, develop and exhibit solar lights and furniture while practicing architecture and interior design at New Lab in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. In 2018, the office completed a LEED certified residence in Long Island and co-designed a public solar lighting installation for the Bronx River Park. Nina Edwards Anker Edwards Anker’s contemporary design works have been widely published and exhibited. The designer's Landscape Sofa won the 2015 Good Design Award Chicago Atheneum Museum of Architecture and Design, her Latitude Lights won the A’Design Award in 2017, and her Cocoon won the Build 2019 Home and Garden Awards for Best New Eco Residential Project.
