My goal in therapy is to offer my client a fresh outlook and useful tools in order to tackle life’s challenges with increased confidence and grace. Clients benefit from varying approaches in therapy and I tailor a plan to the needs of my client. I see therapy as training to become one’s own therapist, i.e. to increase self-awareness to the point of being able to recognize independently the choices that will best serve one’s well-being. I have been in the mental health field since 1976 and in private psychotherapy practice since 1985.
