As a former Labor and Delivery Nurse and childbirth educator, I’ve always been passionate about working with pregnant women, the growth of families and being intimately involved in the birth of babies (so emotional….I used to cry seeing the babies born). I always knew I wanted to be a mother myself; wondering whether I would ever have the chance. Recognizing a desire to go back to school, I chose law over medicine. The answer for me was simple… When I eventually became a mother, I knew first hand the magnitude and depth of love I felt for another human being; a love so deep, like none I’d otherwise experienced. After experiencing the loss of my second born child, I focused my energies on helping families I focused my energies on helping families whose children had life threatening illnesses. After coming in contact with a family who likewise lost a biological child and was unable to conceive, I referred them to an adoption attorney I had known. Ultimately, through my passion, I myself Assisted the family through the adoption process; matching them with a beautiful couple expecting a baby whom, at the time, feeling unable to parent, gave birth and placed their child into the family’s hearts and home.
