 I graduated from social work school in 1990 but worked in mental health for many years before. I have two Master's Degrees and three licenses in mental health. I have taught at colleges and universities, as well as being a therapist. I have also worked in substance abuse for 20 years and am licensed alcohol and drug counselor. I come from a psychodynamic background but presently lean more toward a humanistic and cognitive/behavioral therapy. I gear the therapy toward whatever the client needs at the time and feel a sense of humor can help a lot.
