Under moderate supervision and in conjunction with the LifeBridge Kosher certification agency, assists Pastoral Care Director to ensure daily operation of Levindale Geriatric Center’s Kosher Kitchens. Supervises and directs the Machgiachim of Levindale to ensure high quality standards of operation and compliance with the rules of the Kosher certification agency and religious Kosher dietary laws. Supervises the Mashgiachim of Levindale, schedules employees, ensuring proper payroll and labor practices are followed. Acts as a liaison between the Mashgiachim, the Kosher certification agency, the department and patients and families as necessary to facilitate positive customer service. Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college). Must be able to read and understand Hebrew and have thorough knowledge of Kashrut laws. Must be computer literate. 3-5 years of experience. Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Standard Office Equipment; Critical thinking skills. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
