Mumbai Grill is the product of years of hard work and determination of two friends, the inspiration for a successful father and mentor and the support of close friends and family. Starting as colleagues in the hospitality industry 6 years ago, Malik Husain and Andy Perlaza have always shared a love and admiration for distinguished food and service. For Malik, the son of a successful restaurateur with a commitment to carry on his late father's legacy in providing authentic Indian cuisine to the New York metropolitan area and Andy, a self-proclaimed “foodie” with a passion for business, a friendship and restaurant collaboration was all-to natural.
