Since 1980, Aesthetics has collaborated with more than 400 companies, including some of the largest and best-known healthcare organizations in the United States and Canada, and with numerous major architects and artists around the world. Originally established to provide art for hospitals and medical clinics, the firm has since established itself as a leader in the field of healthcare art and design. In 2009, Aesthetics founder Annette Ridenour co-authored a book with Blair L. Sadler, Transforming the Healthcare Experience through the Arts. Annette is also a founding member of the Planetree Network, the National Organization for Arts in Health, and a key proponent of generative space.
