She has a very extensive accounting background, which began in 1979 in the cost accounting department of a manufacturing company in New Jersey and aggressively moved up the accounting ladder. She was a staff accountant with Certified Public Accountant firms in both Maryland and Colorado before reopening Account Kare. In 2005 Karen expanded her knowledge to include Colorado life/annuity licenses. Our History:- The doors of Account Kare originally opened in New Jersey on October 13, 1989. The ribbon was cut in Colorado February 1, 2000. We have retained a number of individual tax clients from our previous office on the east coast. These include clients from New Jersey, Florida and Maryland. Now a growing number of clients in Colorado are discovering that our services are a valuable tool in improving and maintaining financial health for themselves and their businesses. Our Areas of Specialization We offer a full range of bookeeping, accounting and tax preparation. We specialize in small business accounting for individual Schedule C businesses, S-Corps and Small Partnerships. Services provided are as follows: BOOKKEEPING: Payroll, billing, Accts. Receivable and Payables, General Ledger Review and Year End Planning SMALL BUSINESS ACCOUNTING: Bank Reconciliation, general ledger review, adjusting journal entries, audit trails, income statements, balance sheet, year end strategic planning to help minimize tax liability. TAXES: Payroll and sales taxes, individual, business and all states tax preparation.
