On August 1, 2009 the Institute opened the doors of the new facility at 3920 Youngfield Street, Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033. "All of the MIR Graduates have given a thumbs-up upon entering the door. Nothing but smiles as our down-sizing turned into an up-grading. Check out the beautiful flowers, trees and shrubs," said MIR Director of Studies Zachary Brinkerhoff. Zachary K. Brinkerhoff, III, studied under Eunice Ingham-Stopfel in August of 1967 He received a diploma from her Post Graduate Course in Compression Massage; and began full-time practice a year later at the Fountain of Youth Mineral Spa near Niland, California. That first season of professional practice at FOYMS helped establish his future contribution to the foundation of the Modern Institute of Reflexology.
