Minnetonka and Jordan, Mn Dr. Sally Beck, the founder of FaithWorks Counseling and Anchor Counseling, specializes in working with couples in crisis and children who have experienced trauma due to divorce or abuse. Clinics in two Locations: FaithWorks Counseling in Minnetonka, MN and Anchor Counseling in Jordan, MN. Couples: I offer an intense program for couples that work! We work together for two hours a week to create a respectful partnership. As a faith-based therapist, my treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help address your current life challenges and long-standing issues. With compassion and understanding, I help couples and individuals find a resolution to a wide range of personal concerns and psychological issues. Play Therapy: With a Ph.D. in psychology and as a licensed marriage and family therapist, I am fully trained to assist families in crisis. In addition to marriage and family issues, I specialize in lessening trauma due to sexual and physical abuse in adults and children. In fact, I believe the need to assist children early in their trauma is so great that I have an entire play therapy room dedicated to children who suffer from trauma due to abuse or attachment issues. Trained in EMDR: Through a Christian perspective, I draw from a variety of methodologies and techniques to incorporate what is most helpful for each individual. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients' individual needs to help them attain the personal growth they’re striving for. With each client, I work to develop their God-given strengths and personal life goals.
