As an IRS Registered Tax Return Preparer with Advanced Certification with Quickbooks and a member of the AIPB (American Institute of Bookkeepers), we are here to make your tax preparation, bookkeeping and payroll less stressful and affordable. Our Financial Experience What initially drew me to taxes was wanting to take control of our family’s financial future. What started as a side job preparing taxes while my husband was in the Military, quickly turned into a passion that lead to a growing business with over 25 years of experience. I am an RTRP (Registered Tax Return Preparer) with the IRS. There are only roughly 1000 registered with the IRS. We also have Advanced Certification with Quickbooks and are a member of the AIPB (American Institute of Bookkeepers). Over 25 years in the financial industry After preparing tax returns at one of the biggest tax companies in the country for four years, I started to realize that to big tax companies, people were just a number. To me, they are like family, which is why I started AKL Tax & Payroll Services, helping people make their financial dreams a reality!
