What started me on my journey as a home inspector was starting in the plumbing industry 13 years ago as a customer service representative assisting homeowners with their backup sump pump systems and or primary pumps over the phone. I wanted to get more hands on, so I decided what better way to assist homeowners with not just their sump systems but other systems and components in their homes. So, I set out to educate myself on how to properly inspect a home first graduating from ICA (Inspection Certification Associates) in November 2021. During my studies at ICA, I met some amazing teachers, one who introduced me to InterNACHI during a ride along. Upon further investigation, I noticed InterNACHI has overwhelming information and certifications for home inspectors and completed the certification process in January 2022. This allowed me to be able to successfully pass the Illinois home inspector license test February 2022. I have always been passionate about assisting and listening to others, whether it is helping them work on a car project, fixing an issue inside their home or just being an ear for them to unload their feelings.
